"The door slides away with only the lightest sound of scraping stone. A stairway leading down into darkness is revealed.

Shinning the lantern down the stairs reveals the stairs leading down and ending in a small chamber with a ceiling about 9' high. A shut stone double door is set in the wall of the chamber. The air has a stale smell as you descend the stairs and stand before the door."

i thought the whole point of D&D was that people with little to no social skills could get together and be in the company of other human beings...doesnt email d&d defeat/make this situation that much worse?

that's pretty awesome that it's happening, i wish i had a moat full of time to dedicate to it but there's no way. i could wield a double handed broadsword while wearing a girdle of masculinity

No Thanks... I have a reputation to uphold..(whatever that might be)

Whatever, people. Just send in your character. Use an annonymous email if you want. The idea here is that D&D requires a lot of time and arranging for three or four people to get together, but players on email need only spend a few minutes every week reading and responding. Dig it.
