I met a men who talked about wood to tenderly...as if it would be human...has he is ill he has a lot of time to carve beautiful bowls out of what he calls "treecancer"...which means those strange bumps which come out of the wood sometimes. He let me touch the bowls...they where so smooth and soft and carefully crafted. One of the pieces even was glowing like a tigereyestone....because of the special treatment.
