Al, last night (or this morning) in a dreamish state of halfsleep(i think this was about the time i looked the at 5am clock) i thought about this comment you left hither...

so then I thought about the curvy f, ƒ (alt+1,5,9)
saying "curvy integral f'n A".. or "ƒ'n A"

the reason I want to bring that up is because I'd like to thank you. You see, that led me to visualize the integral sign. Then I thought about rope going around the bottom curve to the front, through a hole in the middle and out the back end and over the top curve.. and I thought it was profound in my fuzzydreamlogic mind. I woke up and thought, ''wow, how dumb...they already have things like pulleys bracketed together, whats the big deal?'' and disgarded it.

Fast forward to school just a handfulla hours later, I am on a computer,reading an article on some awesome simple machine of the 20th century... ''rolamite''s.

this bomb ass idea is so very similar to what I was dreaming about that when I saw the diagram I crashed my brains. I then thought maybe my calling is to delve deeper into this idea, so I was thinkin' about how mine had a hole in it, but I scroll down further and they mention how putting differnt slits in the bands give different properties!! (favoring one direction of motion over another) at this point I started flipping balls around my head.

Although "my" idea had a solid S shape with rope in it, not a rope BEING the S with a slit, I still think this is amazingly crazy. So I want to thank you again for giving me this subconcious cosmic consciousness nudge, it has made my day supernatural and inspired! I also feel even stronger that there are not really any new ideas and that everything new is old. I dunno, i have a burst on directed interest in life now, something I have felt rather than just thought about, it added a dimension to things I haven't sensed before... but who knows, maybe it's just an extremely weird coincidence.

You shoulda rang my phone! or maybe thats when my cell phone broke..(sorry?) ...which is another crazy story of mechanical madness. im still in disbelief about the way it broke. well since I am the blabbering village idiot I may as well not stop telling stories: the phone broke in half. while closed. right through the plastic and computer chipz. against my mother fucking leg. HOW?! how do you break a solid chunk of plastic in half against a leg?!! (skateboarding). needless to say I couldnt walk too good for over a week.

that sound much more vivid then the kinda sensations i might feel going to sleep. but i didnt really have sensations like that, i just meant the sensation that i had a linkage to another external idea.. sorta beyond the 5 senses of feeling wind or rotation or hearing tuba's under my matress and people talking to me from under my pillow, mnyasee?
