mystery rodent in our backyard. He sure did not move very fast, but we still only saw his behind.
Mole or Mouse? Don't know. He just sat there while we were standing a foot away looking right down at him. He didn't seem to notice us until Fiona saw him. Then he moved.

I think it is a vole. I looked through my field guide. I am pretty sure that Matt & I saw a river otter today. Crazy.
