I saw a halfdead squirrel on my way to work. Wish I had not. Its tail was still moving the eyes strangely white an pushed out of its skull. A bright, red sea of blood was comming out of its nose. Its beautiful red-brown fur was glistening in the sun.I could not help the animal. I felt sad.

this happened to me and i felt like total shit, the cutest looking little baby squirrel darted out of nowhere in front of my car with no time for me to swerve or stop. i did wish i crashed into a truck instead of killing that thing, it's the only time i hit something. no wait once a bird decided to fly straight into the grill of my car on the freeway, i guess it kind of hit me

i was super high and driving at about 15 miles an hour in a residental and SLAMMED on my brakes for a kitten. the kitten was saved! my friend however hit the windshield, but due to such a low velocity impact he was injury free. (we had to pull over to laugh for about an hour)
